The United States defeated Canada twice to capture the gold. Stack, a forward, and Schaus, a goalie, are two of only 34 American players to ever win a gold at the IIHF Championships. Their BC coaches, Katie King and Courtney Kennedy, won the gold in 2005.]]></description>
